SAP MOLGA, also called Country Grouping, is the two-digit key that identifies a country in SAP HR, Payroll, and Time. This reference lists every MOLGA value, the matching ISO code, the country name, and how to view T500L.

MOLGA (short for the German Molekularlรคndergruppe, or โCountry Groupingโ) is the two-digit numeric key that SAP HCM uses to identify a country. Every country-specific configuration โ payroll schema, tax model, infotype layout, time evaluation rules โ is keyed by its MOLGA.
You will need a countryโs MOLGA whenever you run a country-specific transaction. For example, the generic payroll transaction is PC00_M<XX>_CALC, เคเคนเคพเค XX is the countryโs MOLGA. The transaction to run payroll for Russia (MOLGA = 33) is PC00_M33_CALC; for Spain (MOLGA = 04) it is PC00_M04_CALC.

Notes on the list: SAP preserves legacy entries such as Swaziland (renamed Eswatini in 2018) and the Dutch Antilles (dissolved in 2010; ISO code AN retired in 2011) so existing payroll and historical data continue to reconcile. MOLGA 59 was never released; numbering jumps from 58 to 60.
How to View MOLGA Data in SAP
To view the MOLGA-to-country mapping เคธเฅเคงเฅ เคธเฅ SAP system, query the standard table T500L.
- Open transaction SE16N (general table display).
- Enter table name T500L เคเคฐ Enter เคฆเคฌเคพเคเค
- Optionally restrict by the MOLGA field, then execute (F8).
- The result lists MOLGA values and country descriptions in the systemโs logon language; switch logon language to see localised descriptions.
Customising entries can be reviewed in IMG path Personnel Management โ Personnel Administration โ Basic Settings โ Maintain Country Grouping. Custom country groupings can be added in the customer namespace if a country is missing from the standard delivery.
